Parque Cocodrillos
Parque Cocodrillos is located a couple of
kilometers away from the Town of Aguímes and has more than 300 crocodiles, tropical and Canarian fish, other reptiles, tarantulas and a
parrot show are just a few of the attractions here. Displays from the ‘egg’ stage and new born crocodiles to the half-grown stage are
shown. Then next is a size larger to the smaller breeds from places like Florida that are
housed in outdoor facilities and on to the larger breeds such as a pool full of Nile crocodiles. There are three shows every day when they
feed the Nile crocodiles, which demonstrates their strength and agility. A restaurant divides the park into two sections, which is where
the parrot show is staged. A zoo can be found in the other half of the park where monkeys, Tigers, Jaguars, camels, deer, horses and pigmee
goats are some of the animals here.
Sioux
City
Sioux City is
a wild west theme park that is located in San Augustin, it was a former stage set for an American western film in
1972. There are shows all through the day, featuring bank robberies, saloon fights, cattle stampedes, rodeos and gunfights at the OK Coral.
visitors can enjoy a barbeque or taste the culinary delights of the Three Star Saloon in between shows . Barbecue evenings with country
dancing takes place every Friday night.
Aqua Park
Aqua Park is located at the rear of the commercial centre on the fringes
of Puerto Rico. The park has numerous slides, and it is here that you’ll find the longest and fastest slide of all the water parks on the
island – kamikazes and various other pools. Amenities at the park include a kindergarten and a restaurant.

include:
Mogán
Caves: This dive site is
located around a mile from Puerto Mogán harbour and is a boat dive. It is
named after the small caverns found at a depth of around 9m to 11m. The cavern has a mainly sandy base and you may see some stingray taking
a siesta. There are always a lot of tromped fishes around with good visibility. The maximum depth is 15m to 16m.
Mogán
Wreck's: This dive site is
located immediately in front of Puerto Mogán harbour and
is a boat dive. There are two wrecks’ "the old wreck" and "the new wreck". The wrecks are located in a depth of around 18m and they are
about 50m apart, both of the wrecks can be visited in one dive. The new wreck is a 30m fishing boat which was sunk in March 2002. The old
wreck has been there a lot longer. Marine life includes large shoals of fish, moray eels,
barracudas, yellow Gunters and many other species of fish.
Octopus
Garden: This boat dive site is
located around a 10 minute boat trip from Puerto Rico.
This flat reef is home to the famous "Big Ben" the old yellow spotted moray eel. With its many hiding places you will have to look beneath
all the little overhangs on the reef and you will discover a sleeping stingray. The reef has a depth of 21m to 23m.
Arguineguin
Reef: This boat dive site is
located around a 10 minute boat trip from Puerto Rico. The
site is named after the fishing village of Arguineguin which is close by. The reef begins at 11m and descends slowly down to a maximum of
15m.
Pasito
Blanco: This boat dive site is
located around a 30 minute boat trip from Puerto Rico.
This reef dive is considered one of the best in the south of the Island. The top of the reef begins at 12m and drops down to 23m. The reef
is teeming with marine life such as yellow Gunters, moray eels, stingrays and barracudas.
Nature Park of
Arinaga: This dive site is
located Close to the town Arinaga; it is the Underwater
Nature Reserve "El Cabrón" and is a very popular dive. A few different dives can be achieved here, the volcanic formation is spectacular
and together with the big schools of fish, it is considered one of the best dive sites in the Canary Islands. You can dive here to 40m and
the famous Yellow Coral of Arinaga can be seen in 30m.
Medio Almud: This dive site can be accessed from the shore or a
10 minute boat trip from Puerto Rico. The reef starts at 0m and goes very slow down to maximum of 13m. Plenty of Cuttle Fish can be found here
and you may see Stingrays sleeping in the sand. This site is ideal for a shallow dive.
Caleta
Baja: The entrance to this shore dive site is near the
village of Caleta. It is an easily accessible cave with a sandy base. You will see some rays and in the blue there are Barracudas turning
around. The depth is a maximum of 23m.
Playa del
Cura: This is an easy shore
dive with a very easy
access and exit using the beach and it has the most excellent conditions. There are a lot of Cuttle fish in the bay and during the winter, the
rays come into the shallow water to create new life.
Sardina de
Norte: This dive site is
located on the north-western tip of the Island. The
harbour wall offers protection and it is nearly always possible to dive at this site. The access and exit is straightforward and so is the
dive. The depth is a maximum of 17m.
